MHA inspects work at Kartarpur border, first movement will begin by Nov 11

The movement of people through the Kartarpur Corridor will begin by November 11, said the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Monday. Speaking after the inspection of the construction site, MHA Additional Secretary Govind Mohan, said there are three works that are part of India's Kartarpur corridor project and work on these was going on at a war footing.

Punjab Cabinet approves raising SC Commission head’s age to 72 years

The Council of Ministers on Monday approved raising of the age limit for Chairperson of Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes from 70 to 72 years. An Ordinance will be brought to amend Section 4 (1) of the Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes Act, 2004 to bring the change into effect.
