Sartaaj confirmed the news and said that he’s working on the project and it will show things from a different perspective. According to the sources, Sartaaj started to work on the project and has carried out extensive research for it. “The subject is of his interest,” a source said, adding, “The film will be centered on Punjab and Iran. It will talk about the culture and languages of both regions, and compare the similarities, while keeping the common heritage as the prime base.”

The film is not yet titled. Also, Sartaaj, due to his close association with PU (he did doctorate in music here), has been creating songs which mentions the PU. And he’s looking to take this trend forward. Recently, when he was in PU for a scholarship distribution function, he had elaborately discussed about PU and had called it a Mecca. “More than anything, I can never forget my hostel room. I was staying in the room number 143 of hostel number 2,” said Sartaaj, adding, “The hostel, university campus… played a vital role in adding wings to my dreams.”
