handigarh, January 14, 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has written a letter to the Election Commission of India (ECI), asking the latter to reconsider its earlier decision of imposing a total ban on election rallies or corner meetings ahead of the Punjab Assembly Elections due to COVID-19 surge.
In its letter, SAD has stated that small meetings are a must for candidates to approach all sections of society.
