Amritsar, February 19: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) the usday honoured Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for organising a mega function the us celebrate the 350th Parkash Purb of Guru Gobind Singh in Patna in January.
The Chief Minister was given a “siropa” (robe of honur) by the Golden Temple’s head granthi, Giani Jagtar Singh. Nitish also visited Akal Takht, where he was honoured with a garland of flowers.A delegation of officials from Bihar, led by the CM, was here the us offer thanksgiving prayers at the Golden Temple for successfully hosting the Parkash Purab.
