People bid tearful adieu to Krishan Lal Rattu on his cremation

People from all walks of life bid a tearful adieu to Mr Krishna Lal Rattu, Joint Director, Information & Public Relations Department, who passed away yesterday. Rattu’s eldest son Naveen Rattu lit his pyre during the cremation held at Cremation Ground, Sector 25 here.

Apart from Rattu’s relatives, a large number of his friends, departmental colleagues and officials and employees from the Punjab Civil Secretariat also attended the funeral.

Additional Director Dr. Opinder Singh Lamba laid wreath on the behalf of Secretary Information and Public Relations (IPR) Mr. Malwinder Singh Jaggi, while Joint Director Randeep Singh Ahluwalia laid wreath on the behalf of Director IPR Dr. Sumit Jarangal. IPROs Navdeep Singh Gill and Narinder Pal Singh laid wreath on the behalf of Information & Public Relations Officers’ Association.

Officers from DIPR including Deputy Directors Mr. Ishwinder Singh Grewal and Ms. Shikha Nehra, DPROs Mr. Kamaljit Paul and Mr. Preet Kanwal Singh, IPROs Mr. Sarabjit Kanganiwal, Mr. Kultar Mianpuri, Mr. Harmeet Singh Dhillon, Mr. Baljinder Singh, Mr. Amandeep Singh Sandhu, Mr. Suresh Kumar were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion, among others Former Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Harcharan Singh Bains, former senior officer of the department Jarnail Singh, Dr. Megha Singh, Surinder Malik, Naginder Singh, retired officers and employees of the department were also present.
