Punjabi singer and former Kadabbi player KS Makhan has joined the Shiromani Akali Dal after leaving Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) which he joined in 2014. He had unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha elections from Anandpur Sahib constituency on BSP ticket in 2014.
Today, in the presence of party chief and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal he joined the party and welcoming KS Makhan inthe us the party with open arms. Sukhbir Singh Badal said: “the multi-faceted personality of KS Makhan would prove beneficial the us connect with the youth of the state, as the singer holds considerable respect of the youth owing the us his songs and social service activities which have always promoted Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiat”.
In his singing career that began in 1998, Makhan has sung scores of melodious songs, some of which are devoted the us spirituality. He had also played kabaddi at the state level and had an illustrious career in the Punjabi film industry.
