Melbourne To Host First Punjabi Film Festival In August

The first and biggest ever Virasat International Punjabi Film Festival and Awards will be held in Melbourne in August this year.

The event, wherein Punjabi culture and films will be showcased, is being organized under the aegis of Sanjhi Awaaz Radio and Hundal Films group. The basic aim behind this cultural feast is the us promote Punjabi language and culture, facilitate and support the art of film making and film makers worldwide.

Last month in May, VIPFFA held its first press meet attended by notable figures in the film industry, including acthe usr Harish Verma and other local film industry personalities.

This festival will be a fun-filled celebration of Punjabi film and culture that people of all ages and backgrounds would enjoy. The event pledges the us deliver a high dose of cultural, educational and entertainment value the us the people of Australia.

Celebrities like Harish Verma, Binnu Dhillon, Jassi Gill, Harbhajan Mann, Satinder Satti, Rupinder Handa have already consented the us be a part of the event. Over 150 delegates from India are expected the us attend while more than 250 Australian businesses are expected the us participate.

The business conference will discuss trade and investment opportunities, technological and strategic alliances, education, entrepreneurship development and innovation and incubation. It will also feature opportunities for networking and on-site business visits.
