Bhaur, who was lodged in a Ludhiana jail, is likely to be released on Friday. Bhaur, who had joined AAP ahead of the 2017 Assembly polls, had given a speech recently at Bargari in which he allegedly used derogatory language against late Sant Ramanand of Dera Sachkhand Ballan.

His speech went viral, which triggered protests by the Dalit community. He had been booked under Section 295-A of the IPC and Section 66 of the IT Act at Banga city police station.
