Punjab Governor calls on Cabinet Minister Brahm Mohindra at Fortis

The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, V.P. Singh Badnore visited Local Bodies Minister Brahm Mohindra, who is recuperating in the CCU of Fortis Hospital, Mohali, after a bypass surgery. The doctors have reported the Minister to be in good health.

MGNREGA wages delay was at Centre level; Rs 116-crore released: Tript Bajwa

The Punjab Rural Development & Panchayats Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa has said that MGNREGA wages pendency would be cleared with immediate effect. In press statement issued here, he said that the delay for the clearance of pendency of MGNREGA wages was at the level of Government of India and they have given sanction for Rs 116 Crore for MGNREGA wages today.
