Capt lauds Centre decision on scrapping blacklist of Sikhs

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh welcomed the Centre’s decision to virtually scrap the controversial `Black List’, which was totally discriminatory towards the Sikh community, in response to the state government’s persistent demand and efforts.

Centre removes names of 312 Sikh foreign nationals from blacklist

The Union government has removed from its blacklist names of 312 Sikh foreign nationals involved in anti-India activities, leaving only two persons on the list now, Home Ministry officials said Friday. The decision has been taken after a review carried out by different security agencies on the Central Adverse List or blacklist containing the names of Sikh foreign nationals.

Punjab generates Rs 54.51 crore from e-auction of properties
