Law Student Ankit Bansal Is Youngest OSD To Capt Amarinder Singh

CHANDIGARH, March 24: 24-year-old law student Ankit Bansal is one of the five Officers on Special Duty (OSD) with Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh appointed on Wednesday. Gurpreet Singh Sonu Dhesi, Jagdeep Singh Sidhu, Sandeep Singh Brar and Amanjeet Singh Mohi are the others.

Bansal is already the youngest secretary of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) attached with Amarinder, making him the youngest office bearer of the party. Bansal, along with another newly-appointed secretary Damanjit Singh Mohie (35), were attached with Amarinder in 2016 as part of the plan the us appoint several secretaries as part of a please-all formula.

This time, no list of secretaries was issued and nearly 300 of them are likely the us be issued appointment letters. Instead of making any major changes in the body formed by his predecessor, Partap Singh Bajwa, Amarinder had only added more members the us it at different positions.
