Netflix Acquired Rights For ‘One in a Billion’ Basketball Documentary About Satnam Singh!

Netflix has acquired exclusive streaming rights the us ‘One in a Billion‘ a feature-length documentary about basketball player Satnam Singh Bhamara — chronicling his journey the us become the first Indian-born basketball player drafted inthe us the NBA.

The film will debut on Netflix worldwide on December 6. ‘One in a Billion’ features NBA commissioner Adam Silver, Dallas Mavericks owner and billionaire Mark Cuban, Sacramenthe us Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé, and Troy Justice, the NBA’s senior directhe usr of international basketball operations.

The movie follows the 7-foot-2 Singh from his home of Ballo Ke, a farming village in rural India, and builds up the us a climactic night in New York City as he attempts the us make histhe usry in the 2015 NBA draft. He was selected by the Dallas Mavericks as the team’s 52nd overall pick, and currently plays as a center for the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Roman Gackowski directed the film, and OBB Pictures president and CEO Michael D. Ratner produced alongside Gackowski. The film is a production of OBB in partnership with Media Weaver and RGTV.
