On FB, gangster issues fresh ‘threats’ to injured Parmish Verma

Date:

Mohali, April 17: Gangster Dilpreet Singh Dhahan, who had claimed to have attacked Punjabi singer Parmish Verma, has reportedly issued fresh threats to him in his new post on Facebook. Parmish and his friend Kulwant Singh Chahal were shot at by unidentified assailants here late on Friday night.

In the post, the gangster not only threatened to kill the singer, but also revealed the names of other three persons who were involved in the incident.

Telling cops not to pick persons who have no link with the case, Dhahan claimed that Harinder Singh Maharastar, Akash Maharastar and Sukhpreet Singh, alias Buddha, were with him. He urged people not to give religious colour to the incident. “Parmish himself will tell the truth,” his post read.
Mohali SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal said, “Who knows whether or not Dilpreet has posted it on Facebook. It could also be an attempt to mislead the investigation.”

On being asked whether Harinder, alias Happy, who was arrested from Baddi on Sunday, was with the assailants, the SSP said Happy was not with them. Meanwhile, the police have provided security to Parmish, who is recuperating at a hospital.
Earlier reports suggested that the assailants chased Parmish from Elante Mall, but sources claimed that Parmish was returning from JW Marriot hotel after having dinner.
