Rupinder Kaur Ruby is pursuing Ph.D in Law. She is the zonal incharge of the party’s women wing. She entered the AAP fold in 2013 along with her father Malkiat Singh, who retired from the Soil Conservation Department in 2012.

The city, named after the Bhati kings, is one of the oldest cities in Punjab and the current administrative headquarters of Bathinda district. It is 225 km west of the capital city of Chandigarh and is the fifth largest city of Punjab. Bathinda is nicknamed the ‘City of Lakes’, courtesy the artificial lakes in the city. The first empress of India, Razia Sultan was imprisoned in the Qila Mubarak fort in Bathinda.
